Brian Hafner

Brian Hafner is an international FEI dressage competitor who is an Elite "A" list rider.  He is a USDF Bronze, Silver, & Gold medalist and a US team member in the 2014 and 2015 Nation's Cups. Originally from Minnesota, Brian now trains out of Golden Oak Farm in Sonoma County, California.

Brian is known for his effective and calm manner with horses and riders. He is coming to Trinity Creek Farm in Greenfield, MN this Sunday December 27th.  Auditing is FREE!  Questions?  Contact Paula.

Paul Belasik clinic at U of M this weekend!

Paul Belasik is a well-known classical dressage rider, trainer, and instructor who has competed to the Grand Prix level internationally. He began his equestrian career as an eventer before focusing on dressage. He has learned from dressage masters such as Nuno Oliveira.  

Now he trains out of Pennsylvania Riding Academy at Lost Hollow Farm. His training encompasses the physical, scientific, artistic, and philosophical aspects of riding and he is well-known for centering in on rider position.

Paul Belasik is returning to the Twin Cities for a clinic Saturday and Sunday November 21-22 to be held at the Leatherdale Equine Center at the U of M. While rider spots are full, auditing is encouraged!

Auditing is $50 both days for CSDEA members and $60 for non-members.  Just Saturday or Sunday is $30 for CSDEA members, $35 for non-members. Look here for more details from the flyer and registration pages. Contact Sheri with questions.

Lee Tubman clinic at Pegasus Circle Farm this weekend!

Lee Tubman is teaching a clinic at Pegasus Circle Farm in Mankato this weekend, November 6-8. 

Lee Tubman is an international dressage Grand Prix competitor and trainer.  He is currently long-listed for the Canadian Olympic team and trains out of Wellington, FL. He competes Delight, his 11-year-old Hanoverian by De Niro in Grand Prix.

Pegasus Circle Farm offers a sand 60' x 200' outdoor dressage arena, a 60' x 120' sand/rubber footing indoor arena with mirrors, a grass jump field, and a grass track for conditioning.

Karen Lee Clinic at Apple Treat Stables this weekend!

Karen Lee, a USDF Bronze and Silver medalist dressage trainer, is coming to Apple Treat Stables in Northfield, MN, this weekend for a dressage clinic. Karen Lee trains out of Hay River Equestrian in west central Wisconsin. She is an L level dressage judge as well.  Her teaching style is practical and systematic and focused on both horse and rider being relaxed.

Don Schramm Clinic this weekend at Woodloch Stable!

This Saturday and Sunday, September 12-13, Don Schramm will be offering a dressage and jumping clinic. The clinic will be at Woodloch Stable in Hugo, MN.  

Saturday morning will be private dressage lessons and then Saturday afternoon will be group stadium lessons and Sunday will be group cross country lessons. Here is the complete schedule.

Auditing is free! So make plans to watch and learn from one of eventing's best. Don of Schramm Equestrian is originally from Australia and was one of 2006's Australian Young Rider Eventing squad. He has competed internationally at the *** level.

Jennifer Truett is Back!

Minnesota welcomes back Jennifer Truett of Dancing Horse Farm this weekend for yet another clinic at the U of M Leatherdale Equine Center. Jennifer Truett, as one of only four Ride With Your Mind trainers in the US, is especially skilled in recognizing rider and horse biomechanics and helping riders develop feel and better communication with their horse.  

Jennifer Truett is upbeat and positive and provides visual imagery and exercises to assist riders in finding correct balance and effectiveness. Rider spots may be filled but there is plenty of room for auditors.

Clinic details are available on the CSDEA website. CSDEA members get a discount ($40 for both days, $25), non-CSDEA members pay $50 for both days, $30 for one day. The clinic starts at 9 am.

Certified Ride With Your Mind dressage instructor Jennifer Truett is back in Minnesota giving two clinics. The first clinic will be at the U of M Equine Center in St. Paul this Saturday and Sunday, running from 9 am to 5:30 pm both days. Auditing is $40 for CSDEA members and $50 for non-members for both days, or $25 for CSDEA members, $30 for non-members for just one day.  Lunch will be available for purchase. Julie Julian Dressage Clinic This Weekend!

Julie Julian is a USDF gold medalist and trains out of Flying Dutchman Farm in Barrington Hills, Illinois.  She is coming to Ivory Hills Stables in Wilson, Wisconsin May 23-24 to teach a dressage clinic. 

Julie got her start with horses as a barrel racer.  Since then she has developed as a dressage rider, trainer, and instructor.  Julie Julian has trained multiple horses to the Grand Prix level.  She's received instruction from Dr. Reiner Klimke, Christine Taurig, Harry Boldt, among others.

Schooling Show at Arbor Hill

Arbor Hill Farm in Hugo (8131 140th St. N.) is hosting a dressage schooling this Saturday May 9^th.  Natalie Hinnemann is coming back into town to judge the show and teach a clinic on Friday May 9^th and Sunday May 10^th.  As a USDF bronze, silver, and gold medalist who has been two-time Olympian Kathleen Raine’s Assistant Trainer and also worked with Dutch Olympic team coach, Johann Hinnemann.  Natalie & Stephan train and raise champion dressage horses at Hinneman Farms in Murrieta, California.

The show starts at 8:30 am and has classes for Intro-2^nd level dressage as well as dressage suitability classes.
