If you're looking for a local schooling show to watch this weekend, be sure to check out the annual Ivory Hills Stable Schooling Show this Saturday October 17.

Jim Hatch will be the judge at this show taking place in Wilson, Wisconsin at the lovely Ivory Hills Stable. Classes include dressage through Second Level, western dressage, equitation, and jumping through 3'6".  Go here to look at the prize list.

The classes will be held outdoors weather-permitting and the current forecast is for sunny with a high of 48. There will even be a lunch stand on the grounds!

Northwest Stables Schooling Show Tomorrow!

Northwest Stables and Riding Academy in Corcoran, MN, is hosting a dressage & jumping schooling show TOMORROW Saturday September 12th.  The judge will be Jodi Ely, USDF "r" judge, Western Dressage judge, and USEA eventing judge.

Classes include intro, training and first level dressage as well as western dressage, eventing dressage, equitation and hunter under saddle flat classes and jumper classes from ground poles through 3'3". Ribbons will be awarded 1st to 6th place and there will be awards for high point & reserve high point too.

Wildfire Farms Schooling Show this Saturday!

Wildfire Farms in Maple Lake, MN, is hosting another dressage schooling show this Saturday September 12th.  Entries close today, Sept. 8th, so if you wish to enter, be sure to get it in right away.

Here is the entry form. Classes include intro through 2nd level and above, western dressage, and prix caprilli (with jumps!). The judge will be Jim Hatch. Prizes for high point of the show (personalized halter) and high point series (personalized cooler)!

Entries Due for Fun Schooling Shows!

Today is the deadline for entries for the Project Astride Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, and Fun Schooling Show Sunday August 16th at Rocking R Farm in Foley, MN. Classes include western dressage, lead line and trail classes!

Project Astride is a PATH Intl. Premiere accredited therapeutic riding center for people with disabilities. On site photography, food, silent auction at this fun show! The judges will be Heather Salden (dressage) and Jasmin Seitzer (jumping). Here is the entry form. Come out and support a worthy cause while showing!  

Hollow Creek Farm schooling show

You can also still get your entries in for the 1 Day Horse Trials at Hollow Creek Farm in Menomenie, WI on Saturday August 22nd. Located just an hour from St. Paul, this is a lovely farm and this show is an excellent opportunity to get some practice in between the major horse trials. Here is the entry form.

It's $135 (+$25 late fee) for all 3 phases of eventing: dressage (taking place in the indoor arena), cross country (new water complex!), and stadium jumping (outdoor arena). Levels include Starter, Beginner Novice, & Novice.

Dressage Schooling Show at Wildfire Farms this Saturday!

Looking for a recognized dressage show experience at the cost of a schooling show?  Wildfire Farms in Maple Lake, MN is hosting a dressage schooling show with recognized judge Nancy Porter this Saturday August 8th.  

Here is the showbill and entry form. Classes run from intro level to 2nd and above and include western dressage classes too. It is $20/class and JR/SR divisions run and place simultaneously. 

Classes begin at 9 am in the outdoor arena.  The indoor arena will be open all day for warm-up.

Day stalls are available for $20. 

There will even be high point awards - a personalized cooler for the high point series and a personalized leather halter for the high point score. The closing date is tomorrow Tuesday August 4th. So get your entries in!

Schooling Show at Carriage House Farm tomorrow!

Carriage House Farm in Hugo is hosting a dressage, hunters and jumpers schooling show tomorrow, Sunday August 2nd.  

Here is the dressage schedule.  While the dressage classes require pre-registration, the jumpers and hunters classes are still open.  Here is a complete list of classes and the entry form.  Jumpers classes start at 8:00 and hunters classes at 8:30 am.

Jumping classes are $15 each. Veterinarian and concession services available all day.

ReAnna Stables Dressage & Western Dressage Schooling Show!

ReAnna Stables in Hampton, MN, is hosting a dressage schooling show this Sunday, July 19th. Classes include lead line, equitation, traditional tests (Intro, Training level, & First level and above), as well as Western dressage tests (Intro, Basic, and Level 1 & above). Jim Hatch will be the judge.

Entries are still being accepted if they receive your entry by Wednesday or Thursday so email Shanna Brack today to get your entry paperwork to complete. Tests are $20 each, there's a $15 office fee, and you can reserve a stall or jump out of a trailer.

ReAnna Stables is a lovely boarding facility with a 29-stall insulated barn, a heated/AC bathroom and lounge, and several pastures for turnout in small groups.  The show will be held in their 60' x 170' indoor arena with skylights, rain or shine.

The gorgeous Wildfire Farms in Maple Lake, MN, is hosting their 2nd dressage schooling show this Saturday June 20th.  Sue Vikstrom will be judging.   Classes range from Intro level to 2nd level and above, with western dressage and rider tests also offered. Junior and Senior divisions will run concurrently but will be placed separately. The show starts at 9 am and ride times will be posted Thursday on Wildfire Farm's Facebook page. 

Tests will be ridden in the regulation size outdoor arena. The indoor arena will be available all day for warm-up.

Schooling Show at Arbor Hill

Arbor Hill Farm in Hugo (8131 140th St. N.) is hosting a dressage schooling this Saturday May 9^th.  Natalie Hinnemann is coming back into town to judge the show and teach a clinic on Friday May 9^th and Sunday May 10^th.  As a USDF bronze, silver, and gold medalist who has been two-time Olympian Kathleen Raine’s Assistant Trainer and also worked with Dutch Olympic team coach, Johann Hinnemann.  Natalie & Stephan train and raise champion dressage horses at Hinneman Farms in Murrieta, California.

The show starts at 8:30 am and has classes for Intro-2^nd level dressage as well as dressage suitability classes.

Dressage Schooling Show at Wildfire Farms tomorrow!

Wildfire Farms is hosting their first dressage schooling show TOMORROW Saturday May 2^nd.  Entries are closed but you could still watch and cheer on the competitors and check out this beautiful equestrian facility!  

Take a peep at the stunning barn and immaculate outdoor dressage arena located between Maple Lake & Buffalo, Minnesota.

Riders will be competing in traditional and western dressage classes ranging from Intro level to Third level.  There will even be a First level freestyle test by a crowd favorite local dressage Fjord, Bjorne!

The judge will be Jodi Ely, a licensed “r” judge who is working on getting her “R” status.  She has earned her USDF bronze and silver medals and is one score from earning her gold.

Cornerstone Dressage Schooling Show

Next Sunday April 26th, Mon Cheval Training Center is hosting a dressage schooling show at Cornerstone Horse Complex which is also for sale!

The judge will be Jim Hatch. Classes including dressage suitability, bareback dressage, and western dressage as well as tests Intro-2nd level and above. Here's the showbill.

The show will be held in this 80 x 225 insulated indoor arena with excellent sand & limestone footing. Warm-up available before the show starts, during breaks, and in the 150 x 300 outdoor arena.

Stalls are available for $25 for the day.  There are lovely matted 14 x 14 concrete block stalls.

The other stalls are 10 x 10 and also rubber-matted. All heated stalls have automatic waterers.
